What you'll do

 

     

  • Develop and implement PR strategies: Create and execute comprehensive public relations strategies that enhance Lucanet's corporate image and manage media relations to secure positive coverage.
  • Manage external communications: Oversee the creation and distribution of external communications, including press releases, media pitches, and corporate announcements.
  • Executive communications: Craft and refine messaging for executives, including speeches, presentations, and talking points, to ensure consistent and impactful communication.
  • Media relations: Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers to amplify Lucanet's voice and manage media inquiries.
  • Content creation: Develop high-quality content for various external channels, including press releases, op-eds, and feature articles, to support PR initiatives and corporate messaging.
  • Crisis communications: Support crisis communication efforts by developing and implementing strategies to manage and mitigate potential issues or reputational risks.
  • Measure and optimize performance: Track and analyze the effectiveness of PR and communications efforts using tools and media monitoring platforms. Identify opportunities for improvement and optimize strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams: Work with internal stakeholders, including marketing, product, and executive teams, to align communications strategies with overall business goals and initiatives.

What you bring to the table

 

     

  • Experience: 5-8 years in B2B corporate communications, with a strong focus on public relations and external communications. Experience in B2B technology or SaaS industry is a plus.
  • PR and media relations: Proven track record in developing and executing successful PR strategies and managing media relations to secure positive coverage.
  • Executive communications: Experience in crafting high-impact messaging for executives, including speeches, presentations, and public statements.
  • Content creation: Strong skills in writing and producing content for various external communication channels.
  • Crisis management: Ability to handle crisis communication with a strategic and measured approach.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex concepts into simple and intuitive communications with a distinct POV. Excellent slide deck development skills (graphic talent not required, but a good eye and ability to work in slide formats is required).
  • Analytical skills: Proficiency in using analytics and media monitoring tools to evaluate the effectiveness of communications efforts.
  • Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior executives.
  • Adaptability: Proactive, adaptable, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
